Our Location
Lupine Community School is located on a 7+ acre bona fide working farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. On a typical day, we spend more time outside than inside. We explore and engage with the nature around us and care for and interact with our rescue farm animals daily. This environment allows us to guide the children by using the concept of humane education. We approach teaching in a way that draws connections between human rights, animal protection, environmental sustainability, and global equity.
Our students explore natural, open-ended playgrounds, native plant and vegetable gardens, farm animal pastures, and light-filled indoor classroom spaces.
